Local police kept the store cleared until the Milwaukee Police Department's hazardous devices unit arrived on the scene and determined the grenades were inert. Because the grenades were inoperable, police don't believe the scare was intentional. Advertisement Police determined the event unsuspicious and decided not to investigate further.
