CINCINNATI, March 3 (UPI) -- The Cincinnati Zoo shared video of its 8-month-old takin showing how "mature" he is by chasing his own tail until he falls face-first to the ground.

The video, posted to the zoo's Facebook page, shows Dale the takin jumping around while apparently attempting to chase his tail.

The rambunctious cousin of the musk ox jumps until he face-plants on the ground, an event he uses to quickly transition into using the ground to scratch his face.

"Wait for it.... Dale the takin is now 8 months old and clearly very mature for his age," the zoo said in the post.
