A baby kangaroo at the Kangaroo Sanctuary Alice Springs begged one of its caretaker for some milk as it stalked him around the kitchen and clung to his leg.

Earlier in February a kangaroo from the Alice Springs sanctuary was shown on video climbing into a cloth sack meant to simulate its mother's pouch.
The sanctuary gladly accepts the role of surrogate mothers to the young kangaroos, speculating the baby's thoughts by writing "But mum! I want my milk now!"
