GULMARG , India, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- A group of skiers on an Indian mountain had a run in with a wild snow leopard.

Video shared to Facebook by Owen Lansbury shows the leopard hopping through the snow as it chased Lansbury down the mountain.

"Just a regular getting chased by wild leopards kinda day," Lansbury wrote in a separate Facebook post.

Some of Lansbury's friends stood by for a moment and screamed as the leopard emerged from the snow before the group continued to ski and made their way safely down the mountain.

According to World Wildlife Foundation India the snow leopard is a highly endangered species that is rarely seen in the area. Snow leopard's are the top predators in the area, but are not considered a threat to humans.
