CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- A hostel in Christchurch, New Zealand, shared security camera footage of water splashing out of its pool amid a 5.8-magnitude earthquake.

The Mattpackers hostel in Christchurch posted video to Facebook showing how the water in the accommodation's pool sprouted large waves and splashed out as the quake hit Sunday.

The post said the hostel is located about 8 miles away from the source of the earthquake.

There were multiple reports of minor property damage and buildings being evacuated Sunday, but no reports of injuries resulting from the earthquake.
