Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe BUTTE, Mont., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Police in Montana said a man was arrested after calling authorities to report he had been ripped off while trying to buy methamphetamine. Officers in Butte said Dean May Jr., 31, called police Wednesday night to report he had paid a woman $60 for an amount of crystal meth, but the woman took the money without providing the drugs. Advertisement Investigators said May was found to be intoxicated and under the influence of meth, a violation of of his probation. "We go on calls sometimes like that," Butte-Silver Bow Undersheriff George Skuletich told NBC Montana. "When you're high or drunk, you do some silly, stupid things, so this is something I imagine he regretted when he woke up the next morning in jail."
