Boy, 5, steers motor scooter in Vietnam viral video

HANOI, Vietnam, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- A viral video apparently filmed in Vietnam shows a 5-year-old boy controlling the handlebars of a moving motor scooter while his father sits back.

The video, posted to YouTube Sunday by user Kham Pha, features a young boy steering the scooter while a grown man sitting behind him supervises and occasionally uses one hand to correct boy's steering.

The voice of another youngster in the video says the boy driving the scooter is only 5 1/2 years old.

The Piaggio Liberty scooter bears a Hanoi license plate and the location of the video appears to be a Hanoi street at night. The boy and his father are both riding without helmets, which are required by law in Hanoi.
