Woman 'tripping balls' in Arkansas arrested after running naked through parking lot

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., July 10 (UPI) -- Even though the expression might not exactly be anatomically correct in this instance, an Arkansas woman who was allegedly "tripping balls" on LSD was arrested after she ran naked through Fayetteville.

Melissa Valencia is facing charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police were called because she was supposedly running naked while "intoxicated on drugs and tripping balls," the Smoking Gun reported.

Officers arrived and found Valencia running around and screaming in a parking lot.

"Valencia ran approximately 75 feet to a pole in the parking lot and appeared to be attempting to hide from me," the police report said. "Valencia was speaking but was not making any sense."

She was taken into custody, put in leg restraints and given a blanket to cover up.

After being brought to Washington Regional Medical Center, she was booked at Washington County Detention Center.
