Tim Howard was the U.S. Secretary of Defense on Wikipedia for a little while

Someone edited the Wikipedia page but it has since been reverted to Chuck Hagel.

WASHINGTON, July 2 (UPI) -- After recording 16 saves against Belgium in a 2-1 loss at the World Cup on Tuesday, United States goalkeeper was named U.S. Secretary of Defense -- on Wikipedia at least.

Howard's 16 saves were the most in a World Cup game in the last 50 years and he almost single-handedly kept the U.S. in the game.

Despite his awesome effort, diligent Wikipedia editors didn't let him remain on the U.S. Secretary of Defense page for long, and the entry has been changed back to Chuck Hagel.

That didn't stop Howard from getting his props elsewhere on the web:
