During the incident, the 24-year-old allegedly took out his genitals after emerging from a car sunroof and presented himself "in a sexual manner."

A deputy recounted the incident:

"The passenger began dancing, while sitting on the roof. I witnessed the passenger take his right hand, and expose his genitals to the vehicle next to him. The passenger then began to dance with his genitals exposed, still on the roof of the vehicle. The passenger shook his genitals, while dancing, and appeared to be presenting himself in a sexual manner."

After Timmer was arrested and taken to jail, "he continued to be belligerent."

"I know, I screwed up," Timmer told the deputy, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune reported.

Timmer was charged with lewd or lascivious exhibition to a victim under the age of 16 according to his affidavit. He was also cited for violating seat belt law.
