Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe STROOD, England, April 29 (UPI) -- A British man had his audio equipment confiscated after his neighbors complained about him constantly listening to Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On.” The Medway Council found that Gareth Davies violated a noise abatement notice six times and confiscated his 3D TV, laptop, speakers and a PlayStation 3. Advertisement Davies, who also listened to James Brown's “Love Machine” and the theme tune to Toy Story, said that he was the victim of “a witch hunt.” The council allowed Davies to keep his iPhone and MacBook. "It only takes one complaint, as in this case, and we will act,” the council's portfolio holder for community safety, Peter Hicks, told the BBC. “People have the right to lead a peaceful existence without it being ruined by loud music. We won't tolerate this sort of behavior and anyone who blasts out music or creates other noise nuisance should let this be a warning to them." The 47-year-old can apply to get his stuff back after 28 days.
