NEW YORK, April 7 (UPI) -- Members of the NYPD and FDNY threw punches that led to a bench-clearing brawl during their annual charity hockey game at the Nassau coliseum in Uniondale Sunday.

Videos posted online by spectators show the two teams clearing the benches and throwing punches as the referees try to break up the fights. The fights reportedly broke out during the second period when the score was tied 3-3. The NYPD eventually won 8-5.

Neither the NYPD or FDNY have commented about the hockey brawl.
