Jackson has taken steps to make sure the same error doesn’t happen again. While he was in London to promote Captain America 2, Jackson wore an “I’m not Laurence Fishburne” t-shirt. Jackson (@SamuelLJackson) March 21, 2014 The interview that KTLA’s Sam Rubin conducted with Jackson in February quickly went viral because of the way Jackson reacted after the reporter mixed him up with Fishburne. "See, you're as crazy as the people on Twitter! I'm not Laurence Fishburne!" Jackson said at the time. "We don't all look alike…There's more than one black guy doing commercials. I'm the 'what's in your wallet' black guy. He's the car black guy." Rubin apologized for the error and called it a "very amateur mistake." The two have had at least one subsequent interview and it appears that Jackson has forgiven Rubin for the mix-up. The new Captain America film is out on March 26.
