"Images of herself were incorporated with class work. (My son) says she was performing sex acts," parent Nicholas Tolerson told Arkansas Matters. "My heart goes out to not only my son, but other kids in the classroom.”
The teacher sent a statement to parents apologizing for the mistake.
"I would like to personally apologize for an inappropriate and unprofessional image that your child may or may not have seen,” a portion of the statement reads.
The school’s technology team wiped all eight iPads clean and also reset them.
"It is the preparation that will keep those mistakes from happening. It is the labeling that has to occur and we teach our students about those things. We teach them you have to know every inch of what you are presenting," said University of Arkansas at Little Rock educator professor Dr. Jennifer Hune.
