Large bag of pot donated to Pennsylvania Salvation Army in bag of clothes

"We've had guns ... cash ... rings, and now marijuana," police chief says.

SUGARCREEK , Pa., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Pennsylvania police are investigating a pretty “dope” donation someone made to a Salvation Army outlet.

Workers at one of the charity organization’s locations in Sugarcreek called police after they found a “substantial quantity” of marijuana in a bag that was mixed in with some donated clothes.

"We've had guns ... cash ... rings, and now marijuana," Sugarcreek Borough Police Chief Matt Carlson told The Derrick News-Herald.

According to Carlson, employees at the Venango County Salvation Army outlet are working with police to try and find the missing donor.
