Police said Deal continued driving for about 370 feet before crashing into the back of a Porsche sport utility vehicle. Deal backed up from the Porsche and crashed into Abou-Sayed's Mercedes a second time, police said.
A witness flagged down a police officer, but Deal refused to get out of her vehicle. She nearly slammed her car door on an officer's arm and attempted to drive away before an officer was able to reach in through her open window and put the car in park, police said.
Nishikori, the 15th ranked tennis player on the ATP World Tour and the No. 3 seed in this week's Delray Beach Open, was a passenger in the Porsche.
"It was shocking," said Nishikori, who was not injured. "It was unfortunate that happened."
Deal was arrested on charges of hit and run, resisting arrest and driving under the influence.
