Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Dec. 9 (UPI) -- An Alabama man allegedly got Black Friday started a little early by getting blackout drunk and hanging out in the women’s bathroom at a Walmart in Chattooga County, Ga., on Thanksgiving. Police arrested Anthony Roy Adams for public drunkenness after he was caught in the women’s room around 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving reeking of alcohol. Adams, 41, was so out of it that he told officers he knew the sheriff "here" in Ringgold, Ga., even though he was in Chattooga County at the time. Advertisement According to the arrest report, a breath test revealed Adams had a blood-alcohol content level of 0.197 and was having difficulty standing up. After spending the night in jail at the Chattooga County Sheriff's Office, Adams was out the next day after paying $135. Adams said that he went to the Walmart with a friend and drank a six-pack of Natural Ice while waiting for him in the car. He doesn’t think that he even went into the bathroom, although he’s not sure. "If I even went in the women's bathroom," he said, "it's because I was in the wrong bathroom."
