BERLIN, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- German dictionary publisher Langenscheidt dubbed "Babo," a Turkish-inspired word for boss, as the "Youth Word of the Year."

The publisher said online voters picked "Babo" above "fame," used as a synonym for cool; "gediegen," which literally means dignified or genuine but is used as a slang term for cool or relaxed; and "in your face," an expression of victory, TheLocal.de reported Monday.

Also appearing on the list was "hakuna matata," the Swahili term for "no worries" popularized by Disney film "The Lion King."
