MALMO, Sweden, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Swedish authorities said a crocodile seized from a greenhouse during a raid will receive a new home at a British zoo.

The 6.5-foot Nile croc, dubbed Kaj, was seized in October at a Malmo greenhouse belonging to someone suspected of receiving stolen goods and officials said he will travel in February to his new home at the The Crocodiles of the World Foundation zoo in Britain, Swedish news agency TT reported Tuesday.

The wife of the crocodile's 40-year-old owner told police the animal had been a gift. Investigators said they discovered a dead crocodile in a freezer on the property.
