Guy Whittall, 40, a director at the Humani Lodge, said he was eating his breakfast when he heard the maid scream at discovering a 330-pound croc under his bed, the Daily Star, London, reported Wednesday.
"The really disconcerting thing is that I was sitting on the edge of the bed, barefoot and just centimeters away from the croc," Whittall said,
"Crocodiles are experts at hiding, that's why they have survived on Earth for so long and why they are the ultimate killers in water," he said. "They know how to keep quiet and go unnoticed, it's in their nature."
Whittall said he and some workers removed the crocodile from the room and freed it in the nearby Turgwe River.
