Jeff Dahncke, a spokesman for the snack maker, said the unusual flavor of Cheetos hit the shelves in Japan last month and will be available for a limited time, USA Today reported Friday.
However, he said there are currently no plans to market the Pepsi Cheetos in the United States.
Lynn Dornblaser, an expert on new products at research firm Mintel, said the "flavor-mashing" trend in snack food "speaks to consumers' short attention spans."
"Consumers all want something absolutely new that's never been seen before," Dornblaser said.
USA Today said an estimated 20,000 new food and drink products are introduced to the U.S. market each year.
