Man aims at ex, shoots girlfriend instead

One Texas man is such a lousy shot, it not only landed him in the doghouse with his girlfriend, it's landed him in jail.

San Antonio police arrested a man early Monday morning after he shot his girlfriend in the chest with a shotgun. Investigators said she was trying to stop him from shooting his ex-girlfriend, who had stopped by the house.

The girlfriend was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, and she has since been upgraded to stable.

Police decided to arrest the man, whose identity has not been released, on charges of aggravated assault.
