Police said when they arrived at the inn, they found the 42-year-old suspect, whose name has not been released, locked in her own car outside the inn. She was unable to leave because she had somehow lost her keys and the door lock latches inside were broken.

The woman allegedly stole food, dishes, silverware and other goods from the inn, police said. She was arrested for home invasion and larceny and was taken to the Mackinac County Jail.
