Graffiti suspect allegedly posted pictures of his work on Facebook

NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah, May 13 (UPI) -- Police in Utah said they arrested a man who allegedly posted more than 150 pictures of his graffiti work on Facebook.

North Salt Lake police said Matthew Quinn Todakonzie, 20, was arrested after a detective using a fake profile became Facebook friends with the suspect and gained access to more than 150 pictures of graffiti allegedly created by Todakonzie, the Deseret News, Salt Lake City, reported Monday.

Police said Todakonzie would often sign his work with the tag "HOKES."

"[There are] 10 to 20 [tags] from one individual, so this is quite a number for North Salt Lake specifically," Sgt. Mitch Gwilliam said.

Todakonzie was arrested Thursday on charges including criminal mischief graffiti and criminal trespass.
