Advertisement The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office said Robert Allan London, 49, of San Andreas broke into a home Tuesday evening and allegedly used the house's sauna before the homeowner returned and discovered him rummaging through the kitchen while wearing only a trench coat and socks, the Calaveras Enterprise reported Monday. Investigators said London fled, but the homeowner tackled him in the driveway and held him until deputies arrived around 7 p.m. London told deputies he did not think anyone was living at the residence. He was taken to jail on suspicion of burglary, indecent exposure and possession of stolen property. London was ordered held in lieu of $45,000 bail. Woman charged with driving through house Advertisement LAWRENCE, Kan., Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Police in Kansas said they arrested a woman accused of intentionally driving her vehicle through a home. Lawrence police said Megan Wilson, 19, was arrested Wednesday after investigators determined she intentionally drove her vehicle through the home just before 9 a.m. Nov. 18 after arguing with someone inside, the Lawrence Journal-World reported Monday. Police said about $100,000 worth of damage was caused to the home, but no injuries were reported. Wilson fled the scene, but was found about a block from the crash and taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for treatment. Wilson was charged Thursday with criminal damage, which carries a potential penalty of up to 3 years in prison. She was released after posting $7,500 bond. Lotto winner inspires TP donation WEST CHESTER, Ohio, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Procter & Gamble Co. said an Ohio lottery winner's generosity inspired the company to donate 5,000 rolls of toilet paper to a non-profit in her name. Regina Jackson, who won a $1 million jackpot from the Ohio Lottery New Year's Raffle, said she wanted to donate a truckload of toilet paper to Reach Out Lakota, a non-profit that was there for her in a time of need, but she decided to donate cash instead because she didn't know how to obtain large amounts of the bathroom tissue, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported Monday. Advertisement "When we heard about Regina. We were just inspired to give back," said Laura Dressman, communications manager for Charmin, which is owned by Procter & Gamble Co. "We are thrilled to donate 5,000 rolls of toilet paper in her name. We are dedicated to the local community, and we hope the donation helps Reach Out Lakota further assist other families." The company said the $4,200 worth of toilet paper is expected to arrive at the Reach Out Lakota office in West Chester Thursday. "I couldn't wish for anything better," Jackson said after hearing about the donation. Police: Man called 911 10 times for rides IMMOKALEE, Fla., Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Authorities said a south Florida man was arrested for allegedly making 10 calls to 911 to ask for rides to Mexico and other places. The Collier County Sheriff's Office said Alvaro Francisco, 26, of Immokalee, first called 911 at 8:16 p.m. Saturday and made his final call at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, the Naples (Fla.) Daily News reported Monday. Deputies said Francisco asked for rides to Mexico, his friend's house and his boss' house. The man was advised during each call that his requests did not qualify as emergencies. Francisco, who deputies said smelled of alcohol, was arrested shortly after his final call on a misdemeanor charge of misuse of 911. Advertisement
