Doctor filmed playing tennis during work

BERGAMO, Italy, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Italian authorities said a state-employed doctor charged with defrauding the state was filmed playing tennis during work hours.

Tax police said the Bergamo doctor, whose name wasn't released, allegedly left the hospital without clocking out to play tennis matches that "sometimes went on for hours," ANSA reported Friday.

Investigators said the doctor was filmed during some of his matches and they checked the times against his work records.
