SYRACUSE, N.Y., Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Police in New York state said they arrested a bank robber who returned to the scene of the crime because he didn't get enough cash.

Syracuse police said Arthur Bundrage, 28, entered the Alliance Bank around 9 a.m. Monday and demanded a teller hand over $20,000 cash, The (Syracuse) Post-Standard reported Tuesday.

Investigators said the teller initially refused the demands, but eventually handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.

However, the amount was less than the $20,000 demanded by Bundrage, and he returned to the bank while officers were on the scene investigating the theft. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.
