Advertisement Michael Mayweather, 21, and Abrey Mayweather, 19, were playing a game of "Madden NFL" Monday in Abrey's Racine apartment when Michael became upset about losing and his brother's name calling, the Journal Times, Racine, Wis., reported. Residents of the apartment building Abrey lived in called police when the brothers began fighting in the hallway. The two reportedly ripped the apartment door off its hinges after Michael attempted to lock Abrey out of the apartment. When police arrived, Abrey allegedly told them Michael choked him and had punched him in the face, the report said. Both brothers were arrested at the scene and charged with domestic abuse. Subway employee throws food at robbers Advertisement NEW YORK, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- A teenager working at a New York City Subway fast-food restaurant said she fended off three would-be robbers by throwing food at them. The robbery attempt began about 8 p.m. Wednesday when one thief asked 17-year-old Tiffany Hobbins for a free cup, the New York Post reported. "I told him, 'No, it's against corporate rules,'" Hobbins said. "Then another guy was wandering around, he asked me for a turkey and cheese sandwich. I asked him if he knew the other guy and he said no." "When I was making the sandwich another guy with a red jacket and a black ski mask said, 'This is a robbery. Give me the cash from the register,'" she recounted. Hobbins said at first she thought the three men were joking, but then one of the thieves tried to cut her with what she later learned was a USB port. Then, "I started fighting back," she said. "I started throwing stuff at them, food and the lids we have behind the counter," Hobbins said. Hobbins said she has been working at the store since February and has no intentions of quitting after the incident. "I'm not quitting. Why would I quit?" she said Advertisement Dad allegedly calls 911 in beer dispute SEMINOLE, Fla., Sept. 22 (UPI) -- A Florida man has been charged with making a false report to police for allegedly calling 911 and saying his daughter was hitting him. Investigators say the daughter had only refused to get her drunken father another beer, the Tampa Bay Times reported. Sheriff's deputies who responded Thursday night to Robert Hagerman's home in Seminole said the 56-year-old was obviously drunk. A report called him "very intoxicated and uncooperative." Hagerman had made a 911 call to report his daughter was on drugs and was physically attacking him. Police said the daughter secretly recorded threats he had made, to make false charges against her because she would not get him more beer. 'Guests' turn birthday party into riot HAREN, Netherlands, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- A riot broke out when 3,000 people showed up for a birthday party for a 16-year-old girl who forgot to check "private" on a Facebook invitation, police said. The girl had expected a small gathering in her hometown of Haren when she posted the invitation on Facebook, Euronews reported Saturday. Some of the unexpected party-goers vandalized shops and looted a car before setting it on fire, and 600 police officers were sent to control the crowd. Advertisement Six people were hurt, three seriously, and 20 people were arrested. The birthday girl fled her home hours before the crowds arrived, the report said.
