NEW YORK, March 27 (UPI) -- The famous Carnegie Deli in New York has introduced a 3.5-pound "Jetbow" sandwich created in honor of New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow.

The Jetbow, which contains corned beef, pastrami, roast beef, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise on white bread, was unveiled Monday, the same day as Tebow's first press conference with the Jets, FoxNews.com reported Tuesday.

The owners of the deli said the Jetbow is the first celebrity-inspired sandwich at the deli to feature white bread and mayonnaise instead of the traditional rye bread and mustard. They said the choices were inspired by Tebow's clean-cut, all-American image.

"He's the poster boy for every parent and what they want their kids to be. Very religious, very clean-cut, an outstanding student, he does charity work. What more do you want as an athlete than him?" deli owner Sandy Levine said.
