The Clay County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a report of a home invasion Sunday in Orange Park and found Jacksonville Police Officer Garret Osilka restraining the suspect, Jarvis Guthrie, 18, WJXT-TV, Jacksonville, reported Wednesday. Advertisement Osilka, who said he did not know the teenager, told deputies he and his wife awoke around 3 a.m. Sunday to loud noises outside their home, and he soon heard the suspect force his way through the front door. Osilka said he restrained Guthrie after a physical struggle and called deputies. Guthrie was charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling with intent to commit battery.
