NEW YORK, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- A Virginia woman weighing in at 105 pounds took home the top prize at a New York contest by wolfing down nearly an entire turkey in 10 minutes.

Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas, 42, downed 5.25 pounds of turkey, besting six rivals Tuesday, including second-place finisher Eric "Badlands" Booker, a 400-pound man who holds the world record for pumpkin eating but consumed nearly a pound less than Thomas, the New York Daily News reported Wednesday.

"I'm definitely in awe of her abilities, to be so small and eat so much," Booker said of Thomas.

Thomas said some of the $1,581 prize money she received from sponsor Wild Turkey 81 Proof will go toward her Thanksgiving feast.

"I'm gonna eat some Korean food," she said. "That's enough turkey."
