DUBLIN, Ireland, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- The chief executive officer of discount European airline Ryanair said he hopes to offer an in-flight application that would allow passengers to watch porn.

Michael O'Leary told British newspaper The Sun the app would also enable passengers to gamble, play games and watch non-pornographic movies in flight.

Passengers would log in to the Ryanair app using their iPads or smartphones.

"I'm not talking about having it on screens on the back of seats for everyone to see. It would be on hand-held devices," O'Leary said.

"Hotels around the world have it, so why wouldn't we?"

Ryanair said it would take at least a year before the service would be offered.

"Nothing has been decided as yet," a Ryanair spokesman said.
