Florida man wins second lottery payout

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla., May 10 (UPI) -- A lucky Florida man who won a $3 million payout in November has now collected a $10 million prize, lottery officials say.

Lottery officials said Jody Massengale, 39, of Panama City Beach purchased a Billion Dollar Blockbuster scratch-off game ticket and redeemed it last week for the $10 million prize, which he took in the form of a lump sum payment worth about $6.5 million before taxes, the Panama City News Herald reported Tuesday.

"Winning the lottery once was cool, but to win twice, that's just awesome," Massengale said in a Florida Lottery news release.
