Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe GILBERT, Ariz., March 22 (UPI) -- Police in Arizona, responding to a report of a brawl at a backyard wedding, said the bride was arrested in her wedding dress after kicking an officer. Lt. Hugh White of the Gilbert Police Department said an officer responded to the home Saturday night after a report of people "killing each other" in the backyard and discovered a massive fight involving several people had broken out at a wedding reception, KPHO-TV, Phoenix, reported Tuesday. Advertisement Police said the partygoers ignored the officer and he used pepper spray in an attempt to break up the brawl, The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, reported. Other officers arrived and helped halt the fight. The bride, Angela Davito, 28, of Mesa, was arrested after charging a wedding guest and kicking an officer. She was arrested on suspicion of assault and obstructing governmental operation. The Gilbert Fire Department said several people were treated at the scene for pepper spray exposure.
