CHILLIWACK, British Columbia, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- A Canadian raw-milk dairy ordered to stop selling unpasteurized milk for human consumption is rebranding the product as a "body lotion."

The Our Cows dairy in Chilliwack, British Columbia, was ordered to stop distributing raw milk for human consumption due to its status as a health hazard under the province's Public Health Act, leading company officials to rebrand the raw milk as Cleopatra's enzymatic body lotion, The Globe and Mail reported Tuesday.

The 22-cow dairy is also selling raw cream as a massage aid.

"It's another under-the-table, sneaky way of trying to get around the law," said Robin Smith, executive director of the British Columbia Milk Producers Association. "It's cloaking a cow in Cleopatra's robes."

Smith described the rebranding as a "big fake."

Michael Schmidt, who took over as manager of the dairy in September, said he is seeking to have the business' products classified as cosmetics, which would make them regulated by the federal Food and Drugs Act.
