Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe FORT PIERCE, Fla., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Police in Florida said they used the GPS locator built into a stolen cellphone to find three teenagers accused of a home invasion robbery. Police said a 59-year-old South Hutchinson Island woman awoke at about 1:09 a.m. to find Jonathan Covello, 18, of Okeechobee, standing near her with a gun and demanding to know the location of her safe, TCPalm.com reported Friday. Advertisement Investigators said the woman told Covello she did not have a safe and the teenager and two others, identified as Fort Pierce residents Bret Sizemore, 18, and Dalton Thomas, 16, forced her to dump her purse onto a counter. The woman told police the trio left with a cellphone, a video game console and keys she had for other houses. Police said they used the cellphone's internal GPS to track it to Thomas' apartment and when they called the phone upon arrival it rang from a closet. Covello and Sizemore were taken to the St. Lucie County Jail while Thomas was taken to a juvenile detention center.
