GALLATIN, Tenn., Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Tennessee police said they arrested two theft suspects after one of them left behind a pair of old jeans containing his identification.
Investigators in Gallatin said Dustin Matthew Marshall, 20, left his old jeans in a Wal-Mart dressing room when he allegedly stole a pair of pants Oct. 14 and the jeans contained his wallet and his driver's license, WTVF-TV, Nashville, reported Wednesday.
Officers said they obtained a search warrant for the pair's apartment and discovered further evidence linking them to the auto burglaries and an apartment burglary.
Both suspects were charged with burglary, three counts of theft from a motor vehicle, two counts of theft under $500 and possession of drug paraphernalia.
