Police said Marshall and Lindsey Samantha Scholl, 19, then allegedly skipped out on a restaurant bill Saturday and left behind evidence linking them to a string of burglaries from cars.

Officers said they obtained a search warrant for the pair's apartment and discovered further evidence linking them to the auto burglaries and an apartment burglary.

Both suspects were charged with burglary, three counts of theft from a motor vehicle, two counts of theft under $500 and possession of drug paraphernalia.
