Lilly's profile describes her as an "alert, dark-eyed, inquisitive, free-spirited lady with a good sense of humor who enjoys fine dining, digging and cozy nights in."
Lilly has been received lots of messages from well-wishers but no proposals, The Times of London reports.
Sandy Gyorvari, the owner of Twinlakes Family Theme Park in Leicestershire, and Phil Bendall, the amusement park's farm director, have been working tirelessly to find a suitable mate for Lilly. Bendall said plans to provide Lilly with a male companion fell through days after she arrived from her previous home in Devon.
"Meerkats are extremely social animals and thrive well in groups," he said, adding he has contacting other parks and zoos but found no mate for Lilly.
"We just need a companion for her so she doesn't go crazy or die of loneliness," Gyorvari said. "I'm hoping that someone who has bought one as a pet and realizes it wasn't a good idea will turn a male in to us. I am at the desperate stage. … There must be someone out there in the U.K. that has a male for her. I just need to find him."
