The famous hot chocolate at the Angelina restaurant in Paris, France, was chosen as the world's best by VirtualTourist.com, which described the eatery's version of the beverage as "super-rich." Advertisement The Web site said its No. 2 pick, the Chocolaterie Suisse of Montreal, offers about 30 varieties of hot chocolate to choose from. VirtualTourist said the Chocolateria San Gines in Madrid, which was third on the list, is renowned for its pairing of hot chocolate and churros. The Demel of Vienna, which has been in business since 1786 and moved to its current location in 1888, was chosen as fourth on the list not just for its hot chocolate, but for the beauty of the building and surrounding area. Finishing off the list was New York's Serendipity 3, which was chosen for its famous, albeit pricy, $9 "Frrrozen Hot Chocolate," which is a well-known favorite of talk show host Oprah Winfrey.
