Officials with the Jolly Dryer restaurant in Bristol, England, said the 2,645-calorie burger includes four 1/4-pound beef patties, eight strips of bacon, eight cheese slices, 12 onion rings, three sauces and a generous serving of lettuce, Sky News reported.

Nick Lomvardos, 42, owner of the restaurant, said the 3.3 pound sandwich has yet to leave a customer hungry.

"None of our customers have ever been disappointed by the Super Scooby," he said. "We have never heard of a bigger one being served up anywhere else and we are challenging any big eaters to come along and finish one. If you can manage that then we'll give you a free can of Diet Coke. I have never tried eating one myself but I'd struggle to finish one half the size."

Receipt identifies woman as 'big fat'

SACRAMENTO, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- A California woman said a gas station lost her business when an employee wrote "black lady big fat" as identifying information on a receipt.

Helen Hodges, 31, said a gas pump mix-up led to her being shorted $10 Thursday night at the Sacramento gas station. She found when she returned to the business that a $10 bill was waiting for her with an attached receipt bearing the offensive identifier, KXTV, Sacramento, reported.

"It says 'black lady,' and I can understand that because I am a black lady," Hodges said. "But I don't get 'big fat.' I don't get that part."

Hodges said the incident was particularly offensive to her because her 6-year-old son saw the message. She said she has attempted to contact the manager but has yet to receive an apology.

"The lesson they should learn is my money helps run that store," Hodges said. "And I won't be going back."

Workers removed wrong roof

BREAKERS WEST, Fla., Sept. 29 (UPI) -- A Florida man whose roof was removed by workers who confused his house for a neighbor's said he is demanding his roof be replaced free of charge.

David Fischer, 76, said he was forced to return home early from a vacation this summer when Bossler Roofing contacted him to say the roof of his Breakers West house had mistakenly been removed, WPTV, West Palm Beach, Fla., reported.

Joseph Rodowicz, a lawyer for Bossler, said officials are still unsure of how exactly the mistake happened.

"You know, quite frankly, I don't know. I don't know what took place on that day … but in the end we simply acknowledge that there was a mistake," he said.

Fischer said the company refused his demands to have the roof finished free of charge. Bossler offered to finish the roof at a steep discount -- Fischer would only have to pay his insurance deductible -- but Fischer said he does not believe he should have to pay at all.

"My feeling is they just playing games they trying to take advantage because I'm an old person," he said.

Fischer said he is considering a lawsuit against the company if the issue is not resolved soon.

Dean Allen, 58, said people attending the "machine gun social" Saturday at Allen Arms Indoor Shooting Range in Greenville paid $25 for barbecue and ammunition for target practice with a gun of their choice, the Greenville News reported.

Allen, who served two tours in Vietnam with the U.S. Army, said the event, which featured a drawing for a free rifle, was aimed at highlighting his support for the Second Amendment and opposition to gun control.

"In politics, you have to stand out," he said. "If you stand out in something, you're going to get a little more attention."

Allen said the AK-47 winner will have to pass a background check before taking possession of the rifle.

"I like to tell people I'm not the country club conservative," Allen said. "I'm the machine gun one."
