James Manley, fire department chief in Highlands, said the 16-year-old fell Tuesday afternoon at Glen Falls, the Asheville Citizen-Times reported Wednesday. The teen was then taken by helicopter to a hospital, where he was listed in serious condition late Tuesday. The boy apparently had no broken bones or serious internal injuries, Manley said.
