BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 7 (UPI) -- A Florida man says he's upset that the "Sarah Palin" he met at a diner wasn't the Republican U.S. vice presidential nominee but a radio station impostor.

David Price, 58, of Boynton Beach, Fla., was in a diner Monday in Boca Raton, Fla., when a group of men who appeared to be Secret Service agents entered the restaurant, saying "Sarah Palin" would soon be stopping by, The Palm Beach (Fla.) Post reported.

"I was nervous. I felt like a 4-year-old just sent to the principal's office," Price said.

When the woman arrived, "they announced, 'It's Sarah Palin,'" Price told the newspaper. "She stands and says, 'God bless America.' Several people start to chant, 'maverick, maverick, maverick.' I stand up and applaud. She walks up to me and shakes my hand."

But when it was revealed the visit was staged by a local radio station with a Palin look-alike contest winner, Price called foul.

"That is low-rent," he told the Post. "That is below the belt. I'm not part of the prank. They had me convinced."
