NEW YORK, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- New York police responding to reports of a cow wandering in the city's Queens borough said the bovine led them on a nine-block chase before it was captured.

Police said the cow was first reported being chased by a man on Atlantic Avenue but both the man and animal were gone by the time officers arrived on the scene, the New York Post reported Thursday.
