San Bernardino County detectives later searched Mucio's home and found a collection of license plates from several states plus the U.S. government. Each allegedly had a fake registration tag on it.

The Riverside Press Enterprise said investigators contacted the CIA -- plus the FBI and Department of Homeland Security -- in an attempt to verify Mucio's alleged claim to be an agent.
