Sharon Parry said she fell 6 feet after Andy Laurence popped the question, cracking her head open along the way and requiring the help of a mountain rescue team to reach a hospital, The Daily Mail reported Monday. Advertisement "It was quite an eventful way to get engaged," Parry said. "I had no idea Andy was going to propose, but it was a lovely way to do it," she said. "People keep saying to me: 'You could have said no to him -- you didn't have to jump down a mountain.'" "It was a bit of a shame that I had to stay in hospital because Andy had a bottle of champagne chilling on ice for us when we got back. We eventually got around to toasting our engagement last weekend when I was feeling a bit better. "But I certainly won't forget the day Andy proposed in a hurry."
