BILSTON, Scotland, July 26 (UPI) -- A long-running feud in the Scottish village of Bilston, between the owners of a garden business and the pub next door, is about to end.

Ronald Ferrier has decided to sell the Bilston Inn, The Scotsman reports. One reason he cites is his neighbor, Alexander Gordon.

"The man is just a pest and I can't understand his mentality," Ferrier said. "My attitude has always been live and let live, but he just can't help himself and gets himself very angry."

Gordon blames Ferrier, accusing him of having a "terrible" attitude.

The feud is said to have begun 12 years ago when Ferrier refused to sell his parking lot to Gordon, who wanted to expand the business he runs from his home. Gordon complains that pub customers are disorderly and have blocked his access to his own house and business.

Earlier this year, Gordon allegedly marched into the pub and threatened to burn it down. He recently pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.
