The tusked trio somehow slipped their restraining ropes at a traveling circus early Thursday and took the opportunity to wander around a nearby neighborhood, sampling the shrubs and flower gardens but otherwise behaving themselves. Advertisement Circus personnel and York Region police used cars to round up the elephants and coax them back to the big top, The Toronto Star reported. "They rounded them up pretty quick," said Constable Lindsay Newlove. "I guess they're well-trained elephants."
