MINNEAPOLIS, March 16 (UPI) -- The FBI says a laid-back bank robber in Minneapolis stopped for some cheap booze and a sandwich before leaving the neighborhood on the No. 8 bus this week.

Keith Wells, 39, also apparently didn't bother to disguise himself when he held up a Wells Fargo Bank branch at gunpoint Tuesday. The FBI says publicity from bank surveillance photos led to his arrest on Thursday.

After allegedly robbing the bank, Wells is said to have gone into a nearby liquor store where he bought a bottle of vodka with one of the stolen $50 bills. He then went next door to a sandwich shop and ate a roast beef tortilla sandwich.

"All these cops were running around and he says, 'What's going on?'" said restaurant general manager Tom Tollefson.

It wasn't until after Wells left, without leaving a tip, that restaurant employees realized their customer was the suspected bank robber.
