Park employees donate loose change

SANDUSKY, Ohio, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Employees at an Ohio amusement park have contributed thousands of dollars to local charities by collecting the small change they find on the park's grounds.

This year, the Loose Change Fund at Cedar Point Amusement Park is contributing $7,500 to the Victory Temple Soup Kitchen, the Sandusky Register reported. Employees have collected $170,000 since 1988.

The change was all dropped by customers under rides, on the midway or thrown into fountains in the amusement park.
