Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe PLANO, Texas, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- A Texas woman was rescued by onlookers after her parked car plunged into a pond while she was watching some ducks. Police in Plano say the woman accidentally hit the gas pedal sending her car into the water, WFAA-TV in Dallas reports. Advertisement Three men jumped in and pulled the woman and her dog to safety. Because of the cold weather, crews could not immediately get the car out of the pond. The woman was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for hypothermia.
